Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all purchases made on Aruday, including subscriptions, premium memberships, recruiter plans, employer plans, AI-powered services, resume services, featured listings, advertisements, digital products, and any other paid services. By purchasing any paid service on Aruday, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.

2. Digital Services

Aruday primarily provides digital products and services. Once a digital service has been activated or delivered, it may not be possible to reverse its use. Accordingly, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions set out in this Policy.

3. Refund Eligibility

A refund request shall be considered only if ALL of the following conditions are satisfied:

  • The request is submitted within three (3) calendar days from the date of purchase.
  • The request is emailed to support@aruday.com.
  • The purchaser provides the registered email address, registered mobile number, transaction ID, invoice (if available), and the reason for the request.
  • The request is genuine and made in good faith.
  • The service is eligible for refund under this Policy.
  • The user is not in violation of the Terms of Service.

Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.

4. No Refunds After Three (3) Days

Except where required by applicable law, no refund request shall be accepted after the expiry of three (3) calendar days from the date of purchase. Users are requested to evaluate the suitability of the purchased service before making payment.

5. Proportionate Refund

Where a refund is approved, Aruday may calculate the refund on a proportionate basis after deducting the value of services already delivered, consumed, or made available. The following may be deducted, where applicable: subscription period already used; premium membership period already used; AI credits consumed; resume writing or review services already commenced; career counselling sessions already conducted; job postings already published; featured listings already activated; resume database searches already performed; candidate contact unlocks; interview scheduling services already used; advertising impressions already delivered; administrative and processing costs; payment gateway charges; taxes, duties, or statutory levies; discounts, promotional credits, cashback, or coupon benefits already availed.

6. Non-Refundable Services

Unless required by law, refunds will generally not be granted for: change of mind; failure to obtain employment; failure to receive interview calls; failure to receive job offers; employer dissatisfaction with applicants; candidate dissatisfaction with employers; user inactivity; failure to use purchased services; incorrect purchase by the user; duplicate purchases caused by user negligence; incorrect information submitted by the user; services already completed; digital reports already generated; downloadable digital products already accessed; AI-generated services already consumed; resume writing or optimisation after work has commenced; background verification services already initiated; training or certification programmes after commencement; suspension or termination due to violation of the Terms of Service.

7. Cancellation of Subscriptions

Users may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time through their account settings (where available) or by contacting support@aruday.com. Cancellation will prevent future renewals but will not ordinarily entitle the user to a refund for the current billing period unless required by law or expressly approved by Aruday.

8. Cancellation by Aruday

Aruday reserves the right to cancel any order or subscription where fraud is suspected, payment is unsuccessful or reversed, pricing errors occur, technical errors affect the transaction, the user violates applicable policies, required verification is not completed, or the requested service becomes unavailable. Where appropriate, payments received for services not provided may be refunded.

9. Refund Process

Refund requests should be sent to support@aruday.com. Please include full name, registered email address, registered mobile number, transaction ID, date of payment, invoice (if available), description of the issue, and supporting documents if any. Incomplete requests may delay processing.

10. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will generally be processed within 7–15 business days, subject to bank processing timelines, payment gateway processing, and card issuer or UPI provider procedures. Aruday shall not be responsible for delays caused by financial institutions or payment service providers.

11. Chargebacks

Users agree not to initiate fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks. If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting Aruday to attempt resolution, Aruday reserves the right to suspend the account, recover outstanding amounts, restrict access to paid services, contest the chargeback with supporting evidence, and take any other lawful action available. Nothing in this clause limits any rights users may have under applicable law.

12. Exceptions

Aruday may, at its sole discretion and without creating a precedent, approve refunds outside this Policy in exceptional circumstances where it considers it fair and appropriate to do so.

13. Modifications

Aruday may revise this Policy from time to time. Updated versions shall be published on the Platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
